How I can help
I use an integrative approach in therapy. this means I incorporate techniques from different therapeutic theories, including CBT, EFT, and SFBT. I meet people where they are at and work with them towards their individual therapeutic goals. I work with people who are seeking to grow and heal. I specialize in supporting people navigate relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and grief.
Education and Licensing
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I have studied Clinical Counselling at Tyndale University. I am bilingual and can provide Psychotherapy in both English and German.
Backstory
I grew up in Germany and moved to Canada as an adult to pursue higher education. This experience of navigating a new culture has impacted how I see the world. I know firsthand the challenges that come with being far from home and family. I have found a life here in Canada. I feel supported by friends, by my faith community, and by my wife. I have also found therapy to be helpful in this transition.
Hobbies
I love being in nature. I find going on walks and runs really restorative. I also enjoy reading as well as discovering new favourite shows.
